How long will my results take?
Your results will generally be available in a couple days!
Do you take insurance?
We are not contracted with insurance companies at this time, although we are generally priced lower than the out-of-pocket costs associated with STD testing. We also take HSA/FSA and can provide a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company.
What happens if I screen positive?
If you screen positive (or even if you just have questions), we’re here. You’ll schedule a telemedicine consult and our clinicians will walk you through your results, next steps – and prescribe medication for you and your partner(s), if appropriate. Note that for some STIs, TBD Health is required by law to report a positive result to the applicable Department of Health.
What STDs can be cured?
Some sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) can be cured with appropriate treatment. These include: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis.
However, it's crucial to note that not all STDs are curable. Viral STDs such as HIV, herpes, and hepatitis B cannot be cured, but their symptoms can often be managed with medication and treatment.
